Immediately following surgery
Following surgery, I had to keep these beautiful protective cups on my eyes. They had to
stay on until the following morning. The chicks were all over me!
For 24 hours following surgery, I had to put medication in my eyes every hour to expediate
the healing process. As well, I had to put Artificial Tears in my eyes every half hour, in order to prevent dryness
and keep the eyes well lubricated. I kept a close "eye" on the clock!

For two weeks following surgery, I had to wear special protective patches over my eyes to prevent
me from rubbing them while they were still healing. Unfortunately, they forgot to provide me with any clear tape to
hold them in place. All I had was First Aid tape, so I looked like a freak for the first night.
When you're as good-looking as this, it's really tough to want to go back to the clear tape.
This really looks like I just got the snot kicked out of me. Trust me, when you get laser refractive eye surgery done,
it really isn't as bad as this looks! Thankfully, I was able to purchase some clear tape the following day.
Well, when all was said and done, I was quite pleased with the results. When I went in for
a post-op the following morning, I had 20/20 and 20/25 vision (before the surgery it was 20/125 and 20/130). A month
later, it was 20/15 in both eyes and it remained at this level at the three month check-up. We'll see how they are at six
and twelve months.
