It is hard to really determine when exactly I first noticed the effects of being bitten by the
travel bug. Looking back over my life, I would have to come to the conclusion that I inherited the lust for travel and
experiencing new people, cultures, and lands from my parents. No, we were not global world travellers in the truest
sense of the word. However, my father was a teacher, and thus, had his summers free. Every summer, load up
the camper and family and set off on various kinds of camping adventures somewhere in Canada or the USA. I
think I just built on it from there.
The thing about the travel bug is that very rarely do you actually get cured from it. Going on trips does little
to quench my thirst for travel. In fact, it just heightens my desire for more. Unfortunately, even if you are
as much of a cheap, budget traveller as me, things still do cost money. Thus, a person needs to return to the "real
world" and work - until he has enough to go travel again. Then, when he runs out, he returns home and does it all over
again.
It is impossible to list all the trips I've gone on (or desire to go on) on this website. However, I will include
the major adventures. I am currently planning my next vagabond adventure, and you can be assured that when that trip
is completed, I will post all the details here.
Please note - adding the details and pictures from these trips will take time - and will be built up over time.
Thanks for your patience - and feel free to check back here often for updates and additions.
